Join Lauren Imbruglia, 30 year Ridgewood resident and teacher of 20+ years as she teaches this workshop to show you that you CAN succeed with houseplants!
Plants bring a certain peace and tranquility to your spaces, as well as absorbing electromagnetic frequencies, emitting oxygen and helping to purify our inside air of the off-gassing of chemicals in our homes and offices. All that said, if you can have a measurable degree of success with some starter plants in your home, it brings a great sense of satisfaction.
Get some fundamentals that can help you be successful with plants. Learn the basics about soil choices, lighting requirements, basic terminology, watering and more. Leave with a small easy-care plant that you pot yourself, in soil you have mixed up on your own, with provided materials.
Lauren is the owner of new business Deeply Rooted; Ridgewood's Little Plant Shop, at 14 W. Ridgewood Avenue. Deeply Rooted hosts events, workshops, parties and more, as well as carrying houseplants, some outdoor plants, plant care items and plant-related gifts.
